Our Head of Department, Prof. Dr Hülya BAKIRTAŞ, took part in the ‘YÖKAK Evaluator Advanced Training Course’ organised by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) on 6 October 2026 in Ankara, hosted by Gazi University.
The training programme, organised with the aim of strengthening quality assurance systems in higher education and enhancing institutional evaluation competencies, covered:
The implementation of institutional evaluation processes,
Analysis and verification of institutional evidence,
Identification of strengths and areas for improvement,
Integration of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle into institutional processes
Comprehensive theoretical sessions and interactive workshop activities were conducted on these topics.
